Straight / Single-Wall
One continuous working run—ideal where the kitchen shares space with dining or living.
WUDLUX KITCHENS
A WUDLUX kitchen begins with how you cook, move, store and live. Layout, carcass, hardware, appliances and finishes are then engineered as one complete system.
A SYSTEM, NOT A SET OF CABINETS
The most expensive finish cannot correct a poor layout.
We begin with circulation, work zones, appliance locations, storage behaviour and site services. Only after the kitchen works correctly do we resolve materials, finishes, handles, lighting and visual character.
01 · KITCHEN TYPES
Each layout below is a starting geometry. Final module widths, appliance positions and corner planning are developed around your actual site.
One continuous working run—ideal where the kitchen shares space with dining or living.
Two connected runs creating an efficient corner while keeping circulation open.
Three working sides with generous storage and counter area for dedicated kitchens.
Two facing runs that create highly efficient cooking and preparation zones.
A central element for preparation, cooking, storage, seating—or a combination of functions.
Island functionality connected to the main kitchen run, especially useful where circulation is tighter.
A more expansive social kitchen concept where preparation, island use, breakfast seating and adjoining dining are designed together.
02 · ERGONOMICS & WORKFLOW
These are typical planning ranges, not fixed rules. Final dimensions depend on user height, appliances, site conditions, countertop build-up and selected hardware.
Adjusted to user comfort, flooring level and counter build-up.
Final depth depends on appliance and countertop requirements.
More clearance may be desirable for multiple users or facing storage.
Checked against appliance doors, drawers, seating and circulation.
Varies with user reach, chimney, backsplash and visual proportion.
Pantry and appliance towers are coordinated with ceiling and service conditions.
03 · UNIT-BY-UNIT LIBRARY
A kitchen is specified module by module. The combination below is selected according to layout, family habits, appliance package and storage volume.
Cutlery, utensils, plates, cookware and deep storage in dedicated drawer heights.
Cooking module with drawer planning and required hob/service clearances.
Plumbing access, waste segregation and cleaning storage with moisture-conscious detailing.
Shelf-based storage for vessels, appliances and larger kitchen items.
L-corner or blind-corner storage with fixed or specialist access systems.
Narrow organised storage for oils, bottles and frequently used cooking supplies.
Integrated wet/dry waste and segregation systems close to preparation and sink zones.
Full-height dry storage with shelves, internal drawers or pull-out systems.
Built-in oven, microwave and specialist appliance integration with ventilation planning.
Framing and adjacent storage planned around freestanding or built-in refrigeration.
Upper storage planned around reach, windows, chimney and visual proportion.
Horizontal upper shutters using lift systems for unobstructed access.
Selective niches or shelving to reduce visual mass and keep daily items accessible.
Drawers, shelves, appliances or seating integrated into the island composition.
Casual seating planned with legroom, overhang, lighting and circulation in mind.
High-level storage for low-frequency items where the architecture supports it.
04 · CARCASS & FINISHES
The carcass creates the structural foundation; shutters and surfaces create the visual language. We specify them separately for clarity.
Engineered board option used where the approved application and specification make it suitable.
Long-life plywood carcass specification for demanding premium interior applications.
Dense multi-ply construction with clean edges, dimensional stability and premium joinery potential.
Maximum-durability carcass direction where moisture resistance and structural longevity are priorities.
SHUTTERS & VISIBLE FINISHES
Final finish availability and suitability are confirmed against shutter construction, profile, colour, maintenance expectation and project specification.
05 · HARDWARE & APPLIANCES
Hardware is selected by function, load, frequency of use, desired motion and budget. Appliances are coordinated before manufacturing so services and cabinet dimensions are correct.
We do not force one hardware or appliance brand across every project. The selection is built around the right function and specification.
06 · LAMINATES & PLYWOOD
07 · THE WUDLUX KITCHEN JOURNEY
Each stage exists to remove uncertainty before installation begins.
Cooking habits, family use, site condition, appliance needs and storage expectations.
Site dimensions, openings, services, floor levels, beams and architectural constraints.
Layout, module widths, work zones, ergonomics, appliance positions and circulation.
Carcass, shutters, finishes, hardware, accessories, appliances and countertop interfaces.
Production detailing, hardware clearances, service coordination and manufacturing drawings.
Site installation, alignment, handover, warranty clarity and post-installation service.
